This video shows the great footwork of Sugar Ray Robinson. I wish it was shot closer up, so you could see better detail. However, it is easy to see that his footwork was part of what made him such a great boxer.

What is really incredible is how he takes something so ordinary (like jumping rope) and makes it extraordinary.

We at Elite Martial Arts would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Labor Day holiday. As a reminder, we will be open for the holiday and will maintain our regular business hours.

We know that many of you will be with friends and family, so we don’t expect a large turnout for classes, but those of you that can come in will get more individual attention.

As most of you know, we promote cross training in our Academy. One of the styles that we teach is Silat. Here is a short Youtube video of Guro Dan teaching Silat. Many of you will recognize and be able to name the moves that you see in this video.

With his personal approval. I would like to share with everyone an interview I had with Guro Dan Inosanto on the subject of the 1st & 2nd Filipino Infantry Battalion. These men were instrumental in many major successful missions during the 2nd WW in the Pacific. They were inserted as valuable assets in many notable branches of special operation departments of the United States Armed Forces & Intelligence Units such as the Alamo Scouts, CIC,CID.

This video was shared by a few of my facebook friends, and I thought you would get a kick out of it. Often there is a fine line between life and death and between success and failure. This video definitely shows that line pretty clearly.
