Savate Seminar at Elite Martial Arts

Elite Martial Arts is proud to once again host Professor Salem Assli, for a seminar in French Kickboxing/Savate. The professor is an accomplished author and has been featured in many martial arts magazines. He is a phenomenal instructor and it’s always a lot of fun to train with him. Anyone looking to improve their striking and kickboxing should strongly consider attending.

The event will be held at Elite Martial Arts in Melbourne, Florida. It is a 2 day event: Saturday July 9th from 10:00am to 3:00pm, and Sunday July 10th from 10:00am to 3:00pm.

The event is open to the public, meaning that you don’t have to be a member of our school to attend. Therefore students can bring friends or family members, even if they train at other schools. You can register for one or both days, but space is limited, so please register early.

You can register by calling the school at 321-956-2320.

Happy Father’s Day

Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there. Raising children is a difficult task, and we appreciate all of your hard work and sacrifice.

And to all those whose fathers are no longer living; may the remembrance of your father bring a smile to your face on this very special day.

Congratulations and Special Thanks

Simo Jen and I would like to congratulate all those that earned their next rank at our testing this week. Everyone did a great job, and we are proud of you all. Especially the Adult Purple belts, who had a long and grueling test.

We would also like to thank all of you that helped in various different ways to make testing run smoothly. Namely: Simo Jen, Brandon Turman, DeWayne Barbee, Ian McIntosh, Dane Rahaman-Singh, and Kevin Williams. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Also to all of our families, for your support, and also for chipping in and helping by taking pictures and video. We really appreciate it, and many of the pictures that we have posted on this blog and on facebook are due to your hard work.

We go back to our regular schedule next week, and I look forward to seeing everyone in class.
